Special prize for the ORC Trophy:

Tutima Pacific fot german ORC winners

Tutima increases its commitment to the world's largest sailing regatta
With around 3 million visitors from more than 70 different nations, 4500 contestants and 1750 yachts, the Kieler Woche was again this summer's undispu-ted top yachting event. Tutima has been the official timekeeper of the world's largest sailing regattas since 2004. This year, the North German watchmaking company increased its commitment to yachting and sponsored the Tutima German ORC Trophy for IDM offshore and inshore races. The inshore events took place during Kieler Woche.

In his Dehler 29 Cala Ventinove, Bremen yachtsman Uwe Wenzel won the highest number of first places in both events. Tutima representative Rainer Hoff-mann presented the winner of the ORC Trophy with a very special prize: a Tutima Pacific 300. This ins-trument watch can cope with even the toughest con-ditions: a pure titanium case, water resistant to 30 bar, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, screw-down crown and bidirectional rotating bezel – in other words, the ideal watch for anyone chasing new regatta records.
