Only very few watches from the history of aviation can really boast the right to be called "classic.” The historic Tutima Flieger Chronograph included features that not only made it a legend in its own day, but also enabled it to withstand the test of time. There is no end in sight to this success story: the Grand Classic Edition, launched to celebrate Tutima's 80th anniversary, is a tribute to the original, nearly mythical Flieger Chronograph. Some of its characteristic design features include the coin-edge rotating bezel and striking red reference marker. Another highlight included in all the models of this line is the exhibition case back featuring a large Tutima "T" and the year 1927 — the founding year of the Tutima brand. With a case diameter of 43 mm, each Grand Classic becomes a conspicuous piece of history.
